If you work in the Hertfordshire area, then there's one event you don't want to miss. It's the Hertfordshire Business Independent, Business Expo. Here you'll be able to meet local businesses, see new products and innovations, as well as talk to people about your own needs.
Beaver Design will be there again this year giving visitors an opportunity to see our work and talk to us about what we can do for you.
It's being held at the Galleria, Hatfield on the 24th June 2009 and doors open at 10:00am. It's really not an event you want to miss, so come on down and we'll see you there!

In the last few weeks we have produced concept stimulus for a number of major global brands to be used in their market research. Beaver Design often takes part in this type of conceptual design, helping major brands to create products which end up on the retailer shelves. Due to the confidential nature of this type of work, we are never able to go into any detail on what the products are or who they are for.
Recently, over 20 conceptual pieces were created to be used in market research. This takes the form of low-resolution images for online adult testing and high-resolution printed concept boards for facet-to-face child testing.
Through conceptual work such as this and our longstanding on-going relationships with our clients, Beaver Design has contributed to the brands and identities of many familiar products in the home.

Along with Beaver Design’s recent work on rebuilding the Grassform website we were asked to follow this up with a new logo.
Their requirements were for a brand new logo of two or three colours, rectangular and to sit on pea green background (the colour of their machinery). It needed to be modern and memorable. Everything a logo should be!
After providing them with a dozen layouts we went through the ones they liked until, after some tweaking, we arrived at the final version. As well as being clearly visible on all of their machinery, the logo fits well in all the areas it appears, including their website and print.

T4 Group provide video distribution systems and custom media desks from their Hertfordshire based offices.
The brief for Beaver Design was to produce a logo which is modern, clean, simple and strong. The brand needed to convey brand unity across four different divisions, all coming under the company heading of T4 Group.
We came up with a simple T4 device that could be used separately by each division, easily differentiated by bright colours.
This branding is now used by T4 Group for their business cards, compliment slips and letterhead paper.
South Eastern Electrical recently took delivery of 2000 brochure/folders from Beaver Design, complimenting the style and content of their new website (blogged about here earlier this month).
As well as supplying the new design, artwork and final printed brochures, we carried out location photography at the SEE headquarters, supplying them with a library of different images for future use.
The design work from Beaver has given SEE two tools that are able to compliment each other and help build their corporate image.
