We’ve just set the new incarnation of nockolds.co.uk live. This new evolution combines a free yet considered interface with an alternate view on a structured layout, meaning we were able to retain tried and tested techniques but manifest them in a new way.
“It's been a labour of love for me really, as my initial involvement in 2006 was one of my first steps into the world of the web design so it was great that the marketing team at Nockolds asked us to take the interface forward.” – Doug Taplin, Designer at Beaver Design
The website features a search tool, news blog with social media integration, events calendar and a document archive for Nockolds to upload relevant legal documents for their clients. From the ground up, the website is built for good search engine optimisation and easy navigation for visitors.
"Beaver Design have just re-designed Nockolds LLP's website for the third time over period of 9 years and have once again come up with an innovative new design and great new features. Beaver's designers were very proactive in suggesting ways forward, were a pleasure to work with and overall did a great job. Beaver Design comes strongly recommended!" – James Brunton, Partner at Nockolds LLP
All in all these developments bring nockolds.co.uk bang up to date, creating an interesting and informative legal environment for clients and solicitors alike.

Would you like to save 50% on some great restaurants? Well that’s what you get with The Phantom Card – a membership which gives you great discounts at hundreds of venues. Beaver Design has worked closely with The Phantom Card over recent months to develop the website for this special discount card.
The new website is stylish, clear and easy to use and the layout is simple, with information presented in a clear and concise way. As well as giving information about the card and its corporate benefits, a main feature of the site is the venue map.

Venue Map
With some straight-forward filters and search boxes, members of The Phantom Card can find a variety of great venues to use their discount with the online Venue Map and site users can search via a postcode, the type of venue they want and so on.
This venue map system is managed and kept up-to-date by The Phantom Card, using a custom built content management system from Beaver. This means that The Phantom Card can add and amend venues whenever they need to.
The finished result is a simple, comprehensive site, with great offers and venues for the members. To find out more about The Phantom Card or to just view the site, please go to:

The Manipulation Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (MACP) recently had their informative website redesigned by Beaver Design. This impressive site is now a huge resource for physiotherapists, providing information about events, membership, funding and news.
There is a membership area of the site, but it is also a resource for non-members of MACP, with open information and stories from the industry, as well as an online system for course booking. The style was kept simple and professional, with clear menus for easy navigation around the site.
Content Management
Like many organisations, information needs to be kept up-to-date. While this may seem like a difficult task, by using a simple online tool the MACP can add, amend or remove information from their site. This means that the detail online is populated by the people who know and understand physiotherapy and is up-to-date.
With a clear and simple design, as well as flexible system for keeping it updated, we’re proud to have delivered this comprehensive website for the MACP. To find out more about the MACP or to view the website, please go to:

The Recruitment Gateway is a new website portal, which offers intelligent matching between IT candidates and recruiting managers. It is a concept which does more than simply host CVs – it provides a virtual recruitment consultant, allowing candidates to interact closer with recruiting managers and for positions to be better filled.
Beaver Design was contacted early on by Recruitment Gateway and worked closely with them to design the system which would manage the website.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Candidates provide a breakdown of their key qualities and skills when they register. These details then create their ‘Recruitment Gateway Passport’, which then matches them to job positions. The job positions are created by the recruiting managers and using a series of intelligent algorithms, the candidates are ranked and matched.
WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?
For the candidates, once they’ve set up their Recruitment Gateway Passport, it is a one-click process to apply for jobs.
For the recruitment managers, it gives them a handful of suitable applicants rather than having to sort through hundreds of applicants from other sites. It also uses the intelligent matching to show how suitable a candidate is, based on their skills and the required skills of the position.
“For Recruitment Gateway, we needed not only good designs, but a company who had the technical knowledge to build the intelligent matching required for our web business. We’re happy to say the Beaver team delivered a fantastic site, fully meeting our requirements. It’s working very well and we’re looking forward to the future.” - Recruitment Gateway
From the original idea, to the finished site, Beaver Design worked closely with Recruitment Gateway to deliver something unique, functional and most of all, useful. The website is clean and simple, providing a new valuable resource for job seekers and recruitment managers.
