The March edition of Axis Magazine is out and available throughout the local Hertfordshire area and this month, Tom Bull takes a look at e-marketing in his Web Advice article.

Yesterday, Beaver Design (part of the Beaver Group) attended the HBI (Hertfordshire Business Independent) Business Expo in the local town of Welwyn Garden City. The networking event was held for local businesses with over 70 companies exhibiting. There were even queues out of the car-park as the well attended event ran throughout the day.

At our stand we showcased our web, graphic and digital signage design. It was good see that everyone there showed real interest, with different requirements for their businesses from a small bit of search engine optimisation, to complete business start-up packages.

To our surprise, one of us who attended was being followed on Twitter by local radio station Hertbeat FM. So we even had a quick interview with Dawn on the radio, who was also there as part of the Business Expo.

It was a great show and a real benefit for everyone who was there, especially everyone who is taking advantage of our available discount. For more information on the services we were demonstrating at the HBI Business Show, as well as our our available discount, please contact us.

For the next few months, I will be contributing to Axis Magazine for their new Web Advice section. Axis Magazine is a high quality, free monthly magazine covering East Hertfordshire, with content focused firmly on relevant, useful local information.

This new Web Advice section will cover some of the basics of having a web presence for your business, search engine optimisation, e-marketing, e-commerce and more.

Copies of Axis Magazine are distributed by hand to selected homes and businesses, with additional copies available at selected venues and supermarkets. The first edition with the Web Advice section is available from the beginning of February.
