From all of us at Beaver Group, we wish you Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
To have some fun this Christmas, we have created our Beaver Annual 2010. On one side, read about some of the great stuff we've been up to this year and on the reverse, enjoy some fun games and activities (be sure to get a responsible adult to help with the scissors). Who got the Christmas pudding?
We've also brought back our Whack-A-Beaver game, where you can hit away at some Christmas beavers without fear of the RSPCA calling. How many of the little beavers you can hit before the time runs out? Let us know how well you do by tweeting your scores on Twitter with the hashtag: #whackbeaver
Merry Christmas!

After a hard day at work, we left early last Friday to visit the Wild Fantisies Exhibition at the stolenspaces gallery in the Old Truman Brewery. A fantastic exhibition celebrating 10 years of Don't Panic Poster illustrations, with a few gems shining through.
We especially liked the work of Gelman, D*Face, Dedass, Kam Tang, Steven Wilson and of course Mr James Joyce. I even picked myself up a little unsigned print of "Success" by Steven Wilson, which I plan to put up in the new office space!

Beaver Design has just completed the website for the new Matt Scales Music Fund. The website was designed and developed in-house at Beaver as a way to provide information about the fund and ways to donate.
It uses a simple design, with images, videos and links to the related activities of the MSMF.
About the MSMF
Matt Scales had a huge talent for writing lyrics and songs; he had a way of making people laugh, gave his attention to all those he met and made a huge impact on the many who adored him. The talent, ambition and courage he showed, left an everlasting impression and impact on the many hundreds of people he met in his life.
For all of Matt’s traits and the impressions he made and for the many friends and fans he had, this Music Fund has been set up in his memory. This fund will provide rehearsal space and studio recording time for young bands who would otherwise struggle to fulfil their potential.

Last Saturday, Beaver Design held the 2009 Beaver Challenge Trophy football tournament. The five-a-side competition was this year raising money for Stapleford Primary School and Early Learners group and we managed to raise £230, which will go directly to the school.
Teams played out in 13 matches, lasting 10 minutes each, taking on each other to win the impressive Beaver Challenge Trophy. Team Beaver unfortunately got knocked out before the semi-finals, but we’ll be back again next year!
The winning team of this year’s tournament were ‘Athletico Pathetico’ winning the final match against ‘NNC’: 3-1. The award for Top Goalscorer 2009 went to Andrew Trayler, who scored an impressive eight goals throughout the day and Best Beaver Shot went to Kevin Hughes, for a spectacular shot which he took from beyond the half-way line. Player of the tournament was Jon Addy, for a high number of goals and consistently good play.
Congratulations to everyone who took part and thank-you for your donations!
