Beaver Design has provided not only the design of the new MKB International website, but with the creation of a new visual identity for this international company.
The site has been designed to convey a strong visual image to create an accessible, memorable and unique interface for MKB’s customers. The use of striking imagery and flash animation gives the site an extra dynamic and depth. This increases the strength of the design and its reflection upon the company.
A minimal, technical and contrasting colour palette was utilised to create easily identifiable areas with a clear hierarchy to present a welcoming site that users can identify with.
The Logo has been designed to give MKB International a strong and recognisable corporate identity. We didn’t wish to create a logo that was too specific, instead opting for an abstract iconic image. The logo was created to evoke ideas of space, networking, movement and technical competence.
The typeface has been chosen to reiterate the technical aspect of the company. In addition, it conveys an idea modernity and stability but also pronounces stature and timelessness.

Beaver Design is proud to have been selected to develop the new website for local Ware company Rapier Group. The project has now gone live and incorporates a number of innovative design features, such as a randomised colour as the theme, each time the website is visited. This theme is then maintained throughout the site.
"The team at Beaver were fantastic and a pleasure to work with. The development process was simple and they listened to our needs while respecting our brand guidlines." - Rob Brazier, Account Manager and project lead at Rapier Group

The original integrity of the old site was retained with the interface bought up to date with a restyling and features by Beaver Design. We have reduced the number of clicks and widened the possible routes a customer can take to find a product.
The site features a new search function which constantly updates, narrowing the results to aid the user to find the right item of furniture for their needs. Other features include multiple images, a ‘live’ shopping basket and accounts for returning customers.
